One-day boat trips in Český Krumlov and surroundings

We offer one-day trips from short half-hour floating around the center of Český Krumlov to all-day boat trips.

1. The Český Krumlov Circle

A half hour trip 2 km long, leading through the historic center of Český Krumlov. Along the way you’ll shoot down two weirs and finish at the brewery at the end of the historic center. From there, you can continue exploring the old town on foot.

2. Nové Spolí - Český Krumlov

An hour-long trip with two weirs combining a tour of the historic part of Český Krumlov and a visit at a typical boating camp where you’ll finish.

3. Větřní – Český Krumlov Brewery

The trip takes 1-2 hours long and is approximately 5 km long. Along the way you’ll cross 5 weirs. The first one is located near the paper mill in Větřní called Pečkovský mlýn. This is followed by “lazy water” followed by the Konopa weir. You’ll enter Český Krumlov through the weir Na Rachlích. Then you’re in for a a beautiful trip through Krumlov with the other two weirs waiting for you in the center. End the trip at the brewery at the end of the old town.

4. Pískárna Sandpit – Český Krumlov Brewery

This trip is approximately 15 km long, takes 2-4 hours, and you can look forward to 6 weirs. During this trip, you will discover both sides of the river and the beauty of the historic center. Right at the beginning of the trip, the river has a brisker tempo that slows down at the Větřní paper mill. There are several campsites along the way, where you can stop and take refreshments. After sailing through the center of Krumlov, you will end the trip at the brewery.

5. Český Krumlov – Zlatá Koruna

This is the perfect connection between the historic center and nature; a trip from Český Krumlov to Zlatá Koruna. The trip takes 2-4 hours and is approximately 15 km. You can expect 3 weirs, two of which in Krumlov. The third one is in Zlatá Koruna, below which the camp U Kučerů is located. This is where we’ll be waiting for you. There are also several campsites on both banks along the way with different kinds of refreshments.

6. Větřní – Zlatá Koruna

This trip lasts 3-5 hours long and is 17 km long, with 7 weirs to evoke the classic boating experience. Along the way there are many campsites with different types of refreshments on both banks. The passage through the entire historic center of Český Krumlov is a beautiful diversion.

7. Rožmberk – Český Krumlov

This trip is approximately 24 km long and takes 4-6 hours and includes 7 weirs. The route begins in Rožmberk nad Vltavou, where you start with the first weir. Right at the beginning of the trip you’ll encircle the Rožmberk Castle, then you’ll be carried away by the brisk stream of the river while you enjoy the nature. The river slows down at Větřní, where there are two weirs about 1 km away apart. Along the two banks there are several campsites along the way, where you can dock and take refreshments. Shortly before arriving to Český Krumlov there are two weirs awaiting, then the beautiful historic center opens before you with the last two weirs. The trip finishes at the Krumlov brewery.

8. Vyšší Brod – Český Krumlov

This is a day trip that lasts 6-8 hours and passes over 9 weirs and a distance of approximately 35 km. This is a trip with beautiful nature that ends with a romantic float through the historic center of Český Krumlov. We’ll wait for you at the Krumlov brewery.

9. Český Krumlov – Boršov nad Vltavou

This route will appeal to all those who want to enjoy a peaceful and romantic all-day trip along the river. The route is about 37 km long, it takes 6-8 hours, crosses 4 weirs and and you carry the boat across the 5th. It starts at the beginning of Český Krumlov, where the first two weirs are. The third is located in Zlatá Koruna and the last two are in Boršov. Along the way (especially between Český Krumlov and Zlatá Koruna) there are plenty of camps and various refreshment stops.

10. Zlatá Koruna – Boršov nad Vltavou

This trip is about 22 km long, takes 5-7 hours and includes 2 weirs, the second of which is a carry-over. This is a quieter and relaxing nature route where there are not so many boaters.
